McM was tapped by GC partner, RCI Builders, to perform the structural and site concrete scope of work at this state-of-the-art, startup aerospace facility in the heart of Playa Vista, Los Angeles. Our team worked closely with RCI and their owner client to ensure that this occupied building did not skip a beat in maintaining time-sensitive operations while construction activities progressed. This scope included the excavation, reinforcing, and placement of a superflat 18" isolated concrete slab that will support a powerful vibration machine intended to replicate launch conditions in space, and finished off with the ADA compliant entries including ramp, sidewalk and curb.
